The wealth area is the sector on the Bagua that represents abundance and wealth in all aspects of our life, it is associated with the Southeast, Wood element, the eldest daughter and the colour green, supported by the colours blue and black.

The wealth area is located in the South East sector of the Bagua according to Compass School Feng Shui, although, some consultants use a method called Western Feng Shui which locates the wealth area in the upper left corner of any space from its entrance.

I would suggest you use whichever method feels right for you.

How to locate the wealth area of your home using Western Feng Shui:

1. Stand at your front door facing inward, the furthest corner on your left is your wealth area.

How to locate your wealth area of your home using Compass School Feng Shui:

1. Take a Compass reading using magnetic north to determine the SE area of your home.

How to activate your Abundance and Wealth.

Now that you have located your wealth area lets activate it, this is the fun part.

First and most importantly, number one rule:

·      de-clutter the area! Clutter will only bring financial chaos!

Let’s use objects, colours and elements that represent and symbolise wealth to enhance the area:

·      Gold coins, wealth bowls, crystals such as Citrine and Jade.

·      Colours that represent wealth, gold, green, purple or red.

·      Money trees, lucky bamboo.

·      Art work that shows or symbolise wealth and abundance.

·      Goldfish, moving water fountain – water fountains must only be used after checking Flying Star Feng Shui to make sure there isn’t a bad Water Star(energy) present.

Maintain Your Wealth Area

You need to maintain your wealth area regularly to keep the energy flowing.

·       Keep the wealth area clean and clutter-free.

·       Refresh your enhancements yearly, add new ones and replace any that have become outdated.

·       Your wealth will change each year due to Flying Stars (changes in energy) that move through the compass directions. These changes can bring negative or positive energy that will either weaken or enhance the energy in any given sector. An example of this would be flying star 9 entering the SE would bring success and opportunities to your wealth area, whereas flying star number 5 would bring misfortune and challenging finances. You will need to make adjustments to your wealth area to either enhance the positive or remedy the negative flying stars.

Lucky Money Frog

Another way to bring wealth and abundance into your home is to place a Lucky Money Frog at your front door, place it inside your house facing inward to attract money and welcome it into your home!

Every day as you enter your home and pass by your Lucky Frog and visit your Wealth area express your gratitude for all the abundance you have and the abundance that you will receive in your life. Say a positive affirmation of gratitude that will reaffirm your financial goals. My favourite is;

“I am grateful for the abundance I have received and for the abundance I will receive under grace in perfect ways.”
